Saturday May 23rd 2026 10am seattle Fritz Hedges Waterway Park through the Ballard Locks

One of the best trips of the year to start off the summer season in Seattle !

• What - Join the NW Kayaking Group paddling west through the Ballard Locks where they lower the  water 20 feet to reach the Saltwater of the Puget Sound!! We stop and grab lunch at Un Bein then after 45 minutes or so we load up and return back eastbound through the Locks raising 20 feet up to reach Lake Union and then paddle back to our starting location at Fritz Hedges Waterway Park!!

• Arrive by 9:30AM to get unloaded and ready on the beach
